In Owensboro, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Kentucky vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is Open 24 hours. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (270) 685-4740. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Its Google rating is 3.6 out of 5 from 36 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Owensboro is in Kentucky, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Owensboro is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Kentucky's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Thank God someone referred me to this place. I recently had my car in the shop two different times over the same problem and never got it fixed but made sure they worked on it both times doing services I didn't ask for and charging me, only to have the problem getting worse. Took my car down here the moment he took it down the road about an eighth of a mile he told me exactly what the problem was ordered the part had it fixed the next day for me before I even got off work. They have a new loyal customer out of me now.

They are always courteous, and upfront no nonsense about my vehicle. They are always busy but I've never had a unreasonable wait.

Hired them to tow a car for me. It never got towed. I kept calling and the owner kept telling me it would be done "today" but never happened. I've known e owner since he was in middle school. She must have changed his work ethic

Stay far away from this place. I've had my car there 3 times, and they haven't completed the work. Patrick the owner got smart with me. He's very unprofessional. We are picking up our car again which has a horrible leak that they apparently can't fix. He knew this was our only vehicle. This time it's been there for 5 days. At one point they ordered the wrong part. It sat there for 2 days, and they didn't even have the decency to call, and tell us. He kept giving us excuse after excuse. So we're taking our car somewhere else.

Wouldn't tow my car where I wanted it to be towed in or out of town without cash even thought it was a wreck. Only has 1 wrecker so I believe they shouldn't have a city/county contract because they do rush work. Get to the lot to make sure nothing is in my car and it looked like it had already been gone through. Insurance had to question addresses for the fact 2 are online and clicking it still takes you to a 3rd address. Will never suggest them. I'd rather wait for McCarthy's.
